Healthcare update

Boy its getting crazy up there in Washington, if only Healthcare was the only issue. But the fact remains this issues effects every single one of us. So here's the latest as I understand. The congress bill was modified by the senate and will need a 50 votes to pass that chamber....at this point it is questionable whether that can be achieved. Conservatives are opposed because it is to much like Obamacare, moderates republicans are rejecting this bill because it slashes into medicaid and medicare reducing its value in the course of years and the opposing team wants to modify not repeal. so as the members of the legislative branch scurry into to their own little corners nothing seems to get done.

But as of this post Florida Blue , Molina and Centene will all participate in the marketplace in Florida for 2018. It appears that despite the ineffectiveness in Washington the insurance companies need to plan ahead for the upcoming Open Enrollment. Its also downright impossible for behemoth corporations to turn on a dime. So Im betting on pretty much of the status quo.

In the meantime if you have let your insurance lapse for this year its not to late to access affordable short term medical insurance. There are many options for you to choose from and if you email I can discuss all the options available .
